Biopharmaceutical company Shire has appointed Bill Mordan as general counsel and corporate secretary. He will report to CEO Flemming Ornskov and serrve as a member of the executive committee.

Mordan joins Shire from Reckitt Benckiser Group, where he served as group general counsel and corporate secretary.  He joined Reckitt Benckiser in 2003 as area vice president, North America.

From 1997 to 2003, he worked for Procter & Gamble, holding diverse legal positions in Brazil, Mexico, and the company's corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. Earlier in his career, Bill served as a law clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
