If in 2025 you passed sleepless nights worrying about the ever-evolving pace of technology like artificial intelligence (AI), you had company—and lots of it, according to Compliance Week’s annual Inside the Mind of the CCO survey (ITM).
The survey, now in its seventh year, offers a snapshot of the compliance profession—the responsibilities, the challenges, AI use, and average salaries and their relationship to gender, industry, education, and more. The survey was conducted from November 2025 to March 2026.
