Tanium, a privately held endpoint security and systems management company, has appointed Steven Adams to the newly created role of chief accounting officer.

In this role, Adams is responsible for overseeing all accounting and tax functions, including general accounting, financial reporting, and cost-control systems. His focus includes regulatory compliance and practices and collaborating with Tanium CFO Fazal Merchant to develop financial strategies.

Adams joined Tanium after a brief role as chief accounting officer at Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings. In previous years, he served as chief accounting officer at DreamWorks Animation, and held various roles at DIRECTV, including as general auditor and chief accounting officer. Adams began his career at PwC.
