Daniel Kahn, who most recently served as acting deputy assistant attorney general of the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division, will rejoin Davis Polk as a partner, the law firm announced.

Kahn’s last day at the Department of Justice was Wednesday. His first day at Davis Polk is Oct. 11, a firm spokesperson told Compliance Week. The agency did not announce his departure.
