Australian financial services company Westpac has appointed David Stephen as its new chief risk officer. He will assume this role from Alexandra Holcomb, who is retiring on June 25, after 22 years with Westpac.

Stephen will join Westpac from RBS, where he is currently group chief risk officer.

Westpac Group’s Chief Financial Officer Peter King will act as chief risk officer from June 25, until Stephen commences his new role. Westpac’s Deputy Chief Financial Officer David Lees will serving as acting CFO during this time.
