A former Docusign executive alleged in a federal whistleblower lawsuit that the software company constructively discharged her after she blew the whistle on the company’s mishandling of sensitive data for customers, including Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
Gisele Duprez, a former sales director at Docusign, alleged in a March 17 lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York that the company secretly migrated customer data to Microsoft Azure cloud servers, then falsely assured major banking clients that their data remained on Docusign’s own on-premises servers.
