Many ethics and compliance (E&C) programs have refocused their efforts away from bribery and corruption and onto data security and privacy, complex government regulations, artificial intelligence (AI) security, and other contemporary challenges, a survey from compliance solutions provider LRN found.

LRN’s “2024 E&C Program Effectiveness Report” surveyed 1,415 ethics, compliance, and legal professionals worldwide. It found about 94 percent of E&C programs prioritized their efforts on analyzing and complying with complex government regulations; 91 percent on data protection; and 90 percent information security challenges, including AI.
