Quanta Services, a provider of specialty contracting services, disclosed last week in a quarterly earnings report that it is facing a bribery probe by the Securities and Exchange Commission for possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
“On March 10, 2014, the SEC notified Quanta of an inquiry into certain aspects of Quanta’s activities in certain foreign jurisdictions, including South Africa and the United Arab Emirates,” the company stated in an SEC filing.
