Human compliance risks are a critical weakness in AI governance. According to an EY US report, 47% of AI decision-makers know their organization has bypassed corporate governance processes to deploy AI faster.
EY’s Realizing Potential: Confidence in AI survey found that human processes are failing to match the speed of AI change, creating new concerns for compliance teams. “The challenge today is no longer whether governance exists. It is whether governance can keep pace with AI,” the authors said.
