Two new members added to SFO senior management team

Following an open competition, the U.K. Serious Fraud Office this month appointed two new members to its senior management team: a chief intelligence officer and a new head of corporate services. The SFO announced the creation of these roles and the launch of the recruitment exercises on 27 September 2018.

John Kielty, who joined the SFO in 2015 as a case controller, has already taken up his new role at the SFO, in which he leads the intelligence unit to strengthen its relationships with partner agencies and the sophistication of its strategies to identify new cases and corroborate information.

Prior to becoming case controller at the SFO, he held a distinguished police career with the Metropolitan Police, where he was a detective chief superintendent. While...
