Procter & Gamble is locked in a battle with shareholders over a resolution that calls for the consumer products giant to declassify its board of directors.
The interesting twist, however, is that P&G is the sponsor of the resolution, whose votes will be revealed at the company’s annual meeting Oct. 12.
