The coronavirus pandemic hasn’t played favorites. No industry has been spared from the spread of COVID-19, as normal life has all but grinded to a halt throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and many other parts of the world.
“These are strange days, indeed,” Compliance Week Editor in Chief Dave Lefort wrote in a recent editorial. “Not a single one of us can predict with any kind of certainty what will come next. And that’s exactly why we need strong ethical voices now more than ever.”
Fortunately, many companies have stepped up to answer that call. CW has assembled the following collection of companies and individuals putting ethics first in their response to the pandemic. The list is by no means comprehensive—we encourage readers to share any we’ve missed in the comments sections below—but we hope to continue adding more in order to shine a light on the good deeds taking place during these darker times.
