The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has closed its Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigation into Calavo Growers, three months after the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) closed its FCPA investigation into the produce and agriculture company. 

In a Form 8-K, Calavo disclosed that it received a letter from SEC staff on Dec. 22, 2025, advising the company that it “has concluded its investigation relating to the company and, based on the information available as of that date, does not intend to recommend an enforcement action.”
