Beard Co., a natural resources-holding company based in Oklahoma City, has named Mark Bronson to its board of directors.
Beard did not specify which committees, if any, Bronson will sit on, but Bronson has extensive accounting and finance experience; he has been on the executive management team at Harvison Cos. in Fort Worth, Texas, since 2002; and he is responsible for financial oversight activities involving over a dozen companies in such diverse businesses as oil and gas, mining, renewable energy initiatives, light manufacturing, retail sales, wholesale travel, banking, agribusiness, and real estate.
