$8.5 billion DTE Energy has named Anthony Tocco as chief compliance officer. Tocco is responsible for developing and implementing programs and processes to ensure compliance by DTE Energy and its subsidiaries with applicable laws and regulations.
Prior to his new assignment, Tocco was director of enterprise compliance, responsible for the daily activities of the company’s Enterprise Compliance group. He also held the position of assistant general auditor and served as interim general auditor for DTE Energy. During this time, he directed the development and implementation of an independent centralized testing center for Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance and supporting corporate governance policies and procedures.
