$29.3 billion General Dynamics has announced the retirement of its longtime senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, David Savner. He will be retiring from the defense contracting giant Dec. 31.

Savner joined General Dynamics as senior vice president in 1998 and was named general counsel in 1999. The company said it has not yet named a replacement.
