A federal judge has dismissed a legal challenge to several provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act, among them the designation of โ€œsystematically important financial institutions,โ€ the Secretary of the Treasury’s โ€œliquidation authorityโ€ over failing banks, and regulatory powers granted to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
