The Bipartisan Policy Center—a Washington D.C. based think tank founded by former Senate majority leaders Howard Baker, Tom Daschle, Bob Dole and George Mitchell—has sent a letter to the Treasury Department and the five federal financial regulators, calling for “one consistent Volcker Rule” and a new public comment period for proposed regulations.
