Compliance Week and Integrity Interactive will be hosting an editorial roundtable later this month to talk about supply chain compliance issues. Executives at public companies who oversee this sort of thing—and anyone doubting the importance of the subject, think about milk imported from China or Boeing’s Dreamliner jet delayed because of bad rivets—should contact us promptly if you’d like to participate.
The Roundtable will be held at the Harvard Club in New York City, as an intimate, relaxed event where executives can meet their peers and confer about the challenges they face. This particular session will explore strategies companies are using to address potential misconduct among suppliers, subcontractors, distributors and other business partners, and how to avoid the heightened regulatory enforcement and often disastrous publicity that can stem from a compliance breakdown. The Roundtable will be covered in an upcoming edition of Compliance Week, much like our last Roundtable on Fraud Risk in Emerging Markets.
