The International Compliance Association (ICA), a leading professional body for the compliance community, announced it will host a three-day virtual conference to explore the latest regulatory and financial crime compliance developments and challenges in Africa.

With community as the underlying narrative of the event, ICA Live: Africa will bring together a diverse range of topics presented by 59 speakers from 18 countries. Hosted in partnership with South African-based regulatory training and advisory firm Navigate Compliance, the event is designed for all Africa-based professionals in the regulatory and financial crime compliance space.

The event will be held Oct. 27-29. It will gather industry experts from the public and private sectors, including representatives from financial services, think tanks, telecoms, fintech, regulators, asset forfeiture units, NGOs, legal services, and law enforcement.

“The Africa Live event promises to be a platform for demonstrating best practice in compliance,” said ICA President Bill Howarth in a press release. “Through lively informed discussion, our expert speakers will cover the latest industry developments and provide practical advice to help attendees navigate their latest challenges. By coming together, we can create positive change in the region.”

The International Compliance Association is a sister company to Compliance Week. Both organizations are under the umbrella of Wilmington plc.
