Employee spend management platform Oversight Systems announced the launch of its new General Ledger module.

The new General Ledger solution is designed to expand its AI-powered audit and risk management offering. It continuously monitors an organization’s journal entries, detecting errors and anomalies to prevent fraudulent activity, improve the accuracy of financial statements, and increase the efficiency of the close process.

Oversight’s General Ledger module aims to streamlines journal entry validation by catching errors, such as duplicate or mismatched entries, and detecting suspicious entries that could indicate potential fraud.
