Carrols Restaurant Group, the largest Burger King franchisee in the United States, announced it has appointed Jared Landaw as vice president and general counsel.

Landaw replaces Markus Hartmann, who had held the position since February 2020.

Prior to joining Carrols, Landaw was chief operating officer and general counsel of Barington Capital Group, where he had worked since June 2004. Prior to that, he served as vice president of law at International Specialty Products and as an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
