Cleaning and business supply company Cintas Corp. has promoted Christy Nageleisen to the new position of vice president of environment, social, and governance (ESG) and chief compliance officer.

Nageleisen has been serving as deputy general counsel for litigation at the company since June 2015. She initially was senior counsel for labor and employment, a role she began in January 2012.

In this newly created position, Nageleisen will oversee the company’s integrated ESG efforts, including the development of a new enterprise-wide strategy and ESG monitoring, reporting, and compliance. She will also lead and manage Cintas’ product and service compliance efforts; risk insurance programs; and other corporate, federal, state, and local compliance efforts.

Nageleisen will continue to report to Cintas General Counsel D. Brock Denton.

She came to Cintas from Cincinnati’s Keating Muething and Klekamp, where she joined as an associate in 2004 before being promoted to partner in 2010.
