Lighthouse Guild, a provider of medical assistance and social support to people who are blind or visually impaired, announced the appointment of Nicole Hart as general counsel and chief compliance officer.
In this capacity, Hart is responsible for coordinating the legal, compliance, and regulatory activities of the organization and its affiliates. These include general corporate work, government applications and filings, enterprise risk and internal audit, oversight of the compliance program, and providing counsel to Lighthouse Guild staff.
Hart joins Lighthouse Guild with experience in trusts and estates and nonprofit law. She was most recently managing director of the trusts and estates department at Wealthspire Advisors. She previously held positions at law firms Davis+Gilbert and White & Case.
