Software firm Nutanix announced the appointment of Aaron Boynton as chief accounting officer to scale its global accounting function and oversee all financial reporting and compliance efforts.

Boynton joined Nutanix in 2013 and helped lead the accounting function through the company’s significant growth and its IPO in 2016.

Before coming to Nutanix, Boynton managed external reporting and technical accounting at Seagate Technology. Prior to that, he worked at Deloitte, where he focused on serving the firm’s software and technology clients, as well as advising clients on international capital markets transactions.
