American International Group said in a regulatory filing that Jonathan Wismer, its deputy chief financial officer and chief accounting officer, will be leaving the insurance company on March 31 “to pursue other opportunities.” Wismer has served as the company’s principal accounting officer since August 2018.

Elias Habayeb, currently the company’s senior vice president, chief financial officer – general insurance, has been appointed to the additional role of principal accounting officer, effective as of March 9. Habayeb will now serve as SVP, deputy chief financial officer, and chief accounting officer, AIG; and chief financial officer – general insurance.
