Oldenburgische Landesbank (OLB), a private financial institution headquartered in Germany, announced the appointment of Chris Eggert as chief risk officer. He will join the management board.

Subject to regulatory approval, Eggert will lead credit risk management and risk control and restructuring, effective June 1.

He currently serves as head of credit risk management at OLB as general manager.

With close to 25 years of experience in banking risk management, Eggert held various management positions at KBC Bank, which merged with OLB in 2018.

Eggert also previously worked at Danske Bank; Berenberg Bank; and Deutsche Bank, where he began his career as an apprentice banker in 1993.
