Pace University announced the appointment of Stephanie Akunvabey as associate vice president for diversity and inclusion and chief diversity officer.

She will lead a division that is committed to creating and sustaining a welcoming and just campus climate for all members of Pace University through inclusive policies, practices, and programming.

Previously, Akunvabey served in a similar role at Roger Williams University and as interim assistant dean of academic affairs at Kingsborough Community College.
