Jewelry retailer and manufacturer Swarovski announced the appointment of Stephan Mechnig as chief legal and compliance officer, effective Oct. 1, according to a company LinkedIn post.

He will join the executive committee, reporting to Chief Executive Alexis Nasard, and be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the company’s legal and compliance function.

With more than 30 years of experience, Mechnig previously served at Coca-Cola, Wrigley, and Nestlé. He joins the company from German dairy company Müller, where he held the title head of corporate legal, general counsel, and chief compliance officer since 2014.
