The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) announced the appointment of Mark Tamburri as executive vice president and chief legal officer.
Tamburri will succeed Tom McGough, who will retire at the end of the year.
Previously, Tamburri served as UPMC’s associate chief legal officer and senior vice president of litigation and risk management. He began his legal career at Jones Day and later became a partner at Reed Smith, prior to joining UPMC in 2011.
