The Universities Space Research Association (USRA) announced the appointment of Rochelle Ford as vice president, corporate affairs and governance.

Ford will also serve as USRA’s chief ethics and compliance officer and chair of USRA’s executive compliance committee.

In her new role, Ford will have executive responsibility for corporate legal matters, congressional advocacy, external communications, and management of corporate governance. She will provide support to the board of trustees and the USRA Council of Institutions, which includes representatives from each of USRA’s 113 member universities.

Prior to joining USRA, Ford served as the director of government ethics at the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability in Washington, D.C. Previously, she served in advisor roles with the Department of Justice’s Departmental Ethics Office and U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics.
