Zoom Video Communications disclosed in a regulatory filing the resignation of Chief Accounting Officer Roy Benhorin, effective Oct. 16.

“Mr. Benhorin’s resignation is not a result of any disagreement with the Company’s independent auditors or any member of management on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure or internal controls,” Zoom stated.

In response to Benhorin’s resignation, Zoom’s board of directors appointed Shane Crehan as principal accounting officer, effective Sept. 21. Benhorin will remain the company’s principal accounting officer until the effective date of Crehan’s appointment.

Crehan most recently served as chief accounting officer of Eventbrite from January 2019 to September 2020. From December 2009 to July 2018, he held various finance roles at Facebook, including as head of international finance and global finance operations from 2016-18.
