The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Thursday that it has declined to prosecute Bank of America Securities over lapses related to a spoofing scheme conducted by two former employees that went on for almost seven years.
The DOJ said it reached a resolution with BoAS over alleged market manipulation. BoAS agreed to disgorge $1.96 million in gains from the misconduct and pay $3.6 million fine to a victim compensation fund.
