I missed this April 2015 post from Broc Romanek picking up on the SEC’s use of the social media tool Pinterest to collect various agency infographics, but the agency has found another interesting use for its Pinterest page. March was Women’s History Month, and the SEC created a Women’s History Month board on its Pinterest account to help gather information and celebrate the achievements of many of the most influential women employees in in its history.
The SEC’s Women’s History Month board features profiles of 13 women, ranging chronologically from Roberta Karmel, the first female SEC Commissioner (1977 to 1980), through current SEC Chair Mary Jo White, the third woman to serve as SEC Chair.
