Nearly all compliance professionals who responded to the Inside the Mind of the CCO survey reported using AI in their day-to-day tasks, but many still expressed concerns that the risks posed by the technology were not adequately addressed by their organizations.

The survey found that almost nine out of 10 compliance professionals work for organizations that allow employees to use generative AI (GenAI) tools, but that rules and guardrails were not keeping pace with the risks of AI usage.
