Annual total compensation for chief compliance officers rose 10 percent in 2022, pushed by dramatic increases for CCOs working for public companies in energy/utilities, healthcare and pharma, and professional services, according to the latest compliance compensation survey by executive search firm BarkerGilmore.
The ”2023 Compliance Compensation Report,” released May 25, is the result of an online poll administered in March to a random sample of more than 500 compliance professionals at various levels of seniority from both the public and private sector across the United States.
