The US Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Corporate Enforcement Section (CES) will oversee businesses’ compliance with criminal resolutions, and the DOJ’s fraud division will create a whistleblower program to encourage substantial tips about business fraud, DOJ national fraud chief Colin McDonald said.

In a memo to DOJ staff Thursday, Assistant Attorney General McDonald outlined the CES’s responsibilities and four priorities, which fall under the DOJ’s National Fraud Enforcement Division (NFED). President Donald Trump announced the newish NFED in January and launched it in April, with McDonald taking the helm.
