On June 2, 2014, the first filings under the Conflict Minerals Rule, for calendar year 2013, were due. Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, the leading law firm for Conflict Minerals Rule compliance, together with the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative, a premier multi-stakeholder initiative in furthering due diligence in the mineral supply chain, have released Conflict Minerals Reporting. In this white paper, they analyze these first-ever filings across a broad range of quantitative metrics and provide other qualitative observations on the filings as well.
