One in four executives have said that internal audits have uncovered errors in AI outputs that were not picked up by the organization before being shared with external stakeholders and board members.
The 2026 Midyear Executive Benchmark Survey by Workiva, an audit-ready platform for trust, transparency, and accountability, also found that companies’ effective use of AI is impeded by the quality of information that can be inputted.
