PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has appointed John Verderese as managing director in the firm’s U.S. Advisory People and Change practice in its Boston office. In this new role, Verderese will join a team focused on providing people and cultural transformation services to help clients create and manage a diverse and distinctive culture within their organizations.

Verderese, who has served 24 years with the firm, was formerly PwC’s Human Capital Leader for the U.S. Advisory Practice. During that time, the size of the Advisory practice doubled to close to 4,000 partners and staff. In this role, Verderese was responsible for all aspects of talent management, development, compensation, and benefits for Advisory partners and principals and Advisory professional staff in the United States.
