Troubled financial giant Citigroup has nominated four new candidates to serve on its board of directors. Shareholders will vote on the appointments at the company’s annual meeting on April 21.

Nominated to the board are Jerry Grundhofer, former chief executive of U.S. Bancorp; Michael O’Neill, former chief executive of Bank of Hawaii; William Thompson, former chief executive of Pimco; and Anthony Santomero, former president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. The elections will bring Citigroup’s board to a total of 14 members.
