$747.7 million Gaylord Entertainment, a hospitality and entertainment company based in Nashville, Tenn., has appointed Carter Todd as chief compliance officer. Todd also will continue to serve in his current positions as general counsel and secretary.

Prior to joining Gaylord in 2001, Todd wwas a partner at the Baker Donelson law firm, where his practice emphasis was in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities regulations.
