$31.6 billion Hess Corporation has appointed Timothy Goodell senior vice president and general counsel, effective Jan. 5, 2009.

Goodell is currently a partner in the law firm White & Case, where he is a member of the firm’s partnership committee. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, financings, securities, and corporate governance.
