Protiviti, a global business consulting and internal audit firm, has announced the appointment of Dr. Yakov Lantsman as a managing director and leader of the firm’s model risk practice within Protiviti’s Financial Risk Strategy and Management Solutions group.
Lantsman, who brings more than 20 years of experience to Protiviti, most recently served as a senior vice president at Algorithmics, an enterprise-wide financial risk management software provider, where he led the quantitative services division. Concurrent with this role, he spent two years at Willis Re as a senior vice president serving as the global head of research and development and advanced analytical services.
