Transocean, an oil and gas contract drilling company, has appointed David Tonnel as principal accounting officer, controller, and senior vice president of finance, effective March 1.
Tonnel currently serves as senior vice president of the Europe and Africa unit. Prior to this position, he served as vice president of global supply chain. Previously, he served in management and financial positions, including vice president of integration and process improvement since 2007, vice president and controller since 2005, and assistant controller the previous two years.
