Time Warner has promoted Doug Horne to controller and principal accounting officer, effective January 1, 2015.

Horne, who is currently deputy controller, will succeed Pascal Desroches, who will become chief financial officer of Turner Broadcasting System. In his new role, Horne will oversee a broad range of financial matters for Time Warner, including internal and external financial reporting.

Horne joined Time Warner as deputy controller in 2011, after 11 years with AOL.
