The Telephone Robocall Abuse Criminal Enforcement and Deterrence (TRACED) Act is now making the rounds of the Senate in an effort to strike against unwanted telephone solicitations.
Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, and Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.), a member of the committee and author of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, introduced the bill.
