Allena Pharmaceuticals, a manufacturer or non-systemic oral protein therapeutics, has appointed Gino Santini to its board of directors.
Santini most recently served as senior vice president of corporate strategy and business development at Eli Lilly and Company, where he led corporate strategy and long-range planning, mergers and acquisitions, new product licensing, financing of internal development projects and expansion of Lilly Ventures in the U.S. and China. He recently retired after serving 27 years with the company.
