I was struck by one of the secretly-taped conversations that the government played yesterday in its prosecution of Raj Rajaratnam. In the recording, Bloomberg reports, Rajaratnam shows that he is already thinking several moves ahead about how his alleged insider trading can be defended, if necessary, down the road.
