Robert Durian has been named as vice president, chief accounting officer, and controller for Alliant Energy.

Alliant Energy provides electric and natural gas service to approximately one million electric and 410,000 natural gas customers across Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Durian has served as controller and chief accounting Officer since 2011, with oversight of utility accounting, financial reporting and asset management. He has been with the company since 1992 and held several leadership roles in the financial reporting area of the company, including assistant controller, director of financial reporting, and a manager for internal reporting. A CPA, he holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
